China's Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has won a newbuilding order for two 82,000DWT bulkers from UK's Norse Management.

They are scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2014.

The contract also includes an option for three more such ships, declarable before the end of this year.

Sources say the eco-friendly newbuildings are priced at around $28m each.
