Hyundai Corporation needs to be seen with optimistic view.

Analyst Park Jong-Ryul of HMC Investment & Securities pointed out that Qingdao Hyundai Shipbuilding issues seemed to be settled down soon.

He said "Qingdao Hyundai completed deliveries of six newbuildings in the begnning of this year and the remainder of one vessel were delivered on December 20. Practically saying, its operation has been ended"

Park explained "The Qingdao-based shipyard saw overall KRW 35.6bn ($33.2m) of equity method losses in the full 2011, which, however, was hugely reduced to around KRW 15bn in 2012 and is expected to shrink up to KRW 5bn-7bn from the next year."
