NORTHEAST China's Yingkou port posted a year-on-year 9.8 per cent increase in container throughput to 2.68 million TEU in the first half of the year, refreshing the port's half-year containerised volume record, reports Xinhua.
Overall import and export cargo volume increased 10.7 per cent to 166.3 million tonnes in the period. Since the start of the year, the port authority has worked closely with other customs branches to enhance the clearance efficiency and boost its development.
