RIZHAO, a seaport in eastern China's Shandong province, posted a 16.5 per cent year-on-year increase in overall container volume to 1.18 million TEU in the first seven months, reports Xinhua.
Overall cargo volume was up 11.9 per cent to 189 million tonnes in the period, 1.1 percentage point higher than that in the last same period.
Container volume increased 16.5 per cent to 170,000 TEU in July and cargo volume rose 11.7 per cent to 26.36 million tonnes.
