China’s Nantong Mingde Heavy Industry is turned out to have successfully delivered a 30,000 dwt stainless chemical tanker, the largest size built ever at Asian yard, on January 6.

 The vessel has 183m, 28.4m of length and breadth with 15.2m of height. With 10m of draft, the chemical tanker is equipped with a low-speed diesel engine. 

 The owner, Jo Tankers based in Europe, is said to be very satisfied with the project of newbuilding, ‘Jo Lotus’, constructed at Mingde and consider the yard’s welding skill as the No.1 in the industry.
