GERMANY's Wacker Chemie and China's Ministry of Commerce have announced a deal on pricing of a European-made polysilicon, a key component in solar panels, ending a trade dispute between Brussels and Beijing, London's Financial Times reported.
The deal, which sets a minimum price for the polysilicon that Beijing had accused European producers of dumping on the Chinese market, comes ahead of a Brussels visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping on March 31. China has made clear that it wants an end to trade hostility with the EU, its biggest trading partner.
