Hong Kong down 13.5pc in March to 1.63 million TEU, Singapore off 3.5pc

FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department showed the port handled 1.63 million TEU in March, representing a year-on-year decrease of 13.5 per cent from 1.88 million TEU in March last year.
Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported a 3.5 per cent decrease in container movement in March, having handled 2.7 million TEU compared to 2.8 million TEU in March last year.
