TWO 2M ships, the 11,000-TEU MSC Shuba B and the 4,045-TEU Laura Maersk collided in the Port of Callao in Chile on the morning March 24.
The two ships were manoeuvring in the harbour, said PortalPortuario.cl, according to Kiev's Maritime Bulletin. This was the third Maersk shipboard accident in as many weeks.
The Laura Maersk's bow hit the MSC Shuba B, owned by Hong Kong's Seaspan, but damage, was said to be slight and both ships left Callao on March 25.
