CMA CGM hits reefers in Tianjin with US$1,250 congestion charge

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has imposed a port congestion surcharge in the Port of Tianjin Xingang, reports the American Journal of Transportation.

The US$1,250 charge will apply to each reefer container to and from the US and territories, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
