CONTAINER volume at Cosco Shipping Yangpu international container terminal surpassed the one million TEU mark for the first time since its opening in 2016.
The international trading container volume at the terminal increased 60 per cent as well, according to Colchester's Seatrade Maritime News.
Currently, the highest single day container handling volume at Yangpu terminal is 7,170 TEU, and the highest single month handling volume is 125,500 TEU.
Yangpu international container terminal will also be deploying 36 electric tractors at the port operation area to further develop and promote the facility as a green and smart container terminal.
