FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled 1.98 million TEU in May, an increase of 0.4 per cent against the 1.97 million TEU handled in May of last year.
Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported a six per cent increase in container movement in May, having handled 2.6 million TEU compared to 2.4 million TEU in May of last year.
