PORT of Qingdao, the second largest Chinese port for foreign trade, lifted 194 million tonnes of cargo during the period from January to June, up 12.9 per cent over the same period in the prior year, Xinhua reports.
The port launched 13 railway container lines to Chengdu, Yinchuan, and Urumqi during this period. This is said to be one of the reasons for the throughput growth.
