Samsung Engineering of South Korea is expected to start a new business offshore plant after the first quarter, which would boost its new orders and profit earnings.

Analyst Jo Joo-Hyung, Kyobo Securities said on March 8, "If Samsung Engineering wins a bid for UAE offshore platform project and newly enters offshore plant market, it would be able to make improvements in its profitability."

Added, "When Samsung Engineering announce its earnings report for the first quarter, concern over its profitability aggravation by a sudden increase in the cost rate would be lifted up."
