Eight projects end construction in Xiamen Free Trade Zone

XIAMEN Seaport/Airport/Free Trade Zone Integrated Zone recently celebrated the completion of eight projects within the larger complex, Logistics Week reported.All the eight are part of the Xiameng Xiangyu Free Trade Zone Phase 2, owned by Xiamen Xiangyu Group Corporation and Xiamen Port Holding Group. They include four stacking yards, which cover 170,000, 104,000, 99,000 and 49,300 square metres each, two cold storage warehouses with a floor area of 14,000 square metres and a capacity of 10,000 tons, two 50,000-ton terminals, two 20,000-ton terminals, and seven warehouses covering 41,000 square metres of floor space.The Xiamen Seaport/Airport/Free Trade Zone Integrated Zone is the combination of the Xiangyu Free Trade Zone, Bonded Logistics Park, Airport Logistics Park and Dongdu Port Area.Qingdao's container throughput is estimated to surpass nine million TEU by the end of this year.
