China’s Zhenjiang Shipyard is said to have inked a contract to build three tug boats on October 31 with compatriot SDIC Communications Company.

SDIC Communications finally chose Zhenjiang after going through several evaluations and consultations during a newbuilding tender procedure for the vessels.

Zhenjiang Shipyard has built special ships for a long time in Jiangsu Province, China. It has mainly constructed offshore multi-purpose rescue boats, passenger ships, offshore platform supply vessel and so on, for major buyers from around 20 regions in China and some 20 countries and areas in Asia, Europe and America.
