HHIC-Phil deliver rice to flood victim

Located in the Philippines, Subic Shipyard of Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction (HHIC-Phil) promised an aid to the Philippines suffering a disaster from Typhoon Haiyan.

HHIC-Phil delivered 107,000kg (around 100-ton) of rice to the Philippine government on November 13 as emergency relief for the flood victims.

The Subic Shipyard recognized that food problem is serious in the damaged area that it decided to deliver 2,140 bags of 50kg rice to the Department of Health of the Philippines.

Meanwhile, the yard supplied emergency food in 2011 when the Philippines were hit by a typhoon. It has participated in offering generous hands to foreign disaster areas through providing heavy equipment, such as dump trucks, backhoe loader and etc. as well as relief goods.
