"World Shipping (China) Summit 2010" Held in Guangzhou

The World Shipping (China) Summit 2010 ("Summit"), with the theme of "Staying the Course", is grandly held in Guangzhou, China on November 9th. The Summit attracts more than 1000 delegates from all parts of the world. Mr. Xu Zuyuan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Transport of P. R. China, Mr. Zhu Xiaodan, Executive Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, Mr. Gan Xin, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, Capt. Wei Jiafu, President and CEO of COSCO Group deliver speeches at the grand opening. The ceremony is chaired by Mr. Zhang Fusheng, Executive Vice President of COSCO Group.

With great support from Bureau of Water Transport of MOT P. R. China, the Municipal People's Government of Guangzhou, the Summit is jointly organized by COSCO, Maritime China, Drewry and Journal of Commerce. BIMCO, INTERCARGO, INTERTANKO, ICS and CSA are acting as the honorary organizers.

The Summit receives an overwhelming response in shipping and related industries. China International Marine Containers (Group) Ltd.
